I know once Peanut is here.. Wordless Wednesday will be much more enjoyable for you.. But for now, I will make up for the belly-less post from yesterday!

My belly is getting big!



Hope everyone is enjoying their week!! For those of you who have off on Friday, let it be known I am very envious!! :)

V-day!!! (24 Weeks!)

We made it to 24weeks, which is also my V-day woot :)

For those of you that don't know, viability day is when baby would have a chance at surviving if he chose to come out this early... Meaning the doctors would actually try to save him now.. Kind of like Little Josie Duggar.. You know, number 19 for the Duggars? She was born at 25 weeks I think... But she is thriving now... Keep your fingers crossed our little man waits a while longer!!

Don't get any ideas, Peanut!! :)

We went to San Antonio last weekend... We had a lot of fun visiting a friend of ours.. And I even got to do a little shopping!! It was soo nice to be close to normal stores!!!

Think we finally decided on a crib.. Think we are going to go with the Delta Eclipse set from Target.. Its a Black Cherry Wood... This crib is gorgeous!! The dresser is exactly what we were looking for!! We want something that we can use as a changer too.. Now.. if only Target would get some the dresser instock, I would be able to order it... Not sure why you cannot order it and it go on back order.. But they wont let you order it if its not in stock.. boo! :(

Made some progress on the registries too!! Getting excited about that.. Still trying to decide if I really want to go with a separate stroller or do the whole travel system... Right now we decided separate, and then a light weight one for when little man gets a little bigger... We'll see if I change my mind!

Still have not made much progress on picking the crib bedding... Just cannot seem to find what I like.. And its starting to really annoy me!! Uhhh!! Pray for me! I need the help!!

23 weeks!

We made it through another week, barely! This week has started off rough.. I've definitely been feeling the "increased heart rate and hard to catch my breathe" side of the pregnancy.. Out of nowhere on Sunday I started feeling like I was going through an anxiety attack.. I'm just worried that it might be high blood pressure.. But Its starting to get better.. We'll see at the next doctors appointment on the 8th. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers..

I feel like I am getting redundant with the whole weekley survey... Thats why I did not post this last week.. Sorry guys, don't want to bore everyone!! :)

How far along?: 23 weeks
Total weight gain: Only 3 lbs. so far... I think that number is starting to increase b/c peanut is definitely getting bigger by the day!
How much does baby weigh?: Just over 1 lb. and close to 12 inches long..
Maternity clothes?: Yep. definitely my pants & some tops..
Stretch marks?: Not yet, still trying to avoid them!
Sleep?: It's ok. I used to sleep like a log through the whole night. Now, I get up to pee at least 2 times per night. Thankfully Peanut seems to be sleeping at night so I do not wake up to him... Hope he keeps that up!!
Best moment this week?: Continuous kicks and punches!! I can now see them from the outside!
Movement?: Tons...
Food cravings?: Nothing recently. I'll just eat anything that sounds good at the moment.
Labor signs?: No & I would like to keep it that way until at least July!
Belly button in or out?: Still in..
What I miss: Sleeping on my back & not feeling like I am running a marathon!
What I'm looking forward to: Definitely making decisions on baby products and the room
Milestone: Hmmm I guess being only a week away from v-day!! (viability day for those who aren't familiar with the term)

Beginning to freak out...

Ok.. So I know I am just over 22 weeks, and still have a little ways to go.. But I am starting to have major melt downs and anxiety attacks... Not emotional and hormonal.. At least I do not think so.. But more about deciding on things for Peanut... I have spent hours, upon hours looking at cribs, bedding, strollers, registry items.... And I am realizing I am a very bad decision maker!!

I just do not understand why I cannot make a decision.. Maybe I am looking too much into things? Maybe its my uncreativeness (i know, its not a word!)... Maybe its my frugalness side going.. "OMG its how much??" Maybe it is he fact that I have no idea what I am doing?? I do not know.. But with the way things are going, my child will likely have nothing in his room but the clothes I already had from working at Carters!

With the room, I think my problem is I do not want to go with a theme.. I am more about colors instead of cars or sports.. And I want something sophisticated.. What am I going to do?? I think I need a designer to come in a do the room.. Maybe that will be the only way it will get done!!

With the stroller.. Do I go with a travel system? Or do I spend the extra money to go with a car seat, a snap and go (while we use the carrier), and then a light weight stroller when he gets older??

Uhhh... (**Taking a deep breath..**) What am I going to do?????

21 weeks and US Pictures

So Hubs finally felt Peanut kick!! I was soo excited!! He actually was patient enough to sit there and keep his hand on my tummy.. But what is funny was that I kept feeling the kicks and Hubs didn't say anything... Finally I said, Did you feel that... He was like... "Ohh.. Thats it?? I thought it was your pulse!!" Hahah!! At first I thought that was strange.. But then friend wanted to feel him kick and pretty much the same thing played out... So I had to give Hubs some credit!! :)

Still trying to get the registry done... Uhhh!! Its taking me forever!!

Now that we know for sure that Peanut is a boy.. I am on to deciding stuff for the nursery.. Which if you know me.. It will probably take me forever!! I want something sophisticated, not themed!! Let the search begin...

Its official!!

Yes, you read that right... Its official!!! We're having a BOY!!!

I had a doctors appointment today to confirm if we were for sure having a boy... And we are!! We are really excited!!

Doctor even said Peanut has really long arms... Looks like we are going to have a big boy!

So now onto names... We have one we really like.. But I am not completely set on it yet.. So feel free to leave suggestions!!! :)

Just wanted to share the news with everyone!! I'll update again with pictures soon!!

Half way mark!!

Yes, I have hit a major mile stone!! Half way there!!!! I really cannot believe it!! In some ways, I feel like its gone by fast, and some ways I feel like I have an eternity to go!! I am starting to feel Peanut a lot more.. Definitely when he moves from side to side.. And the other day I felt him kick about 5 or 6 times in a row! I was soo excited!! Of course when I tried to get Hubs to feel it, he stopped.. Maybe next time! But I definitely always have my hand on my tummy!! And I am starting to be a pestering mom.. I poke my tummy to try and get him to kick!!

I have been looking into nursery furniture and bedding lately.. I have found some cribs I really like.. But cannot make myself decide on just one.. Same goes for the bedding!! I want something that will be a sophisticated, and not really a themed nursery.. Its harder thank you think trying to find that! Hopefully soon, I will!

I also started the registry.. Very slow process so far! I feel like I never have time to do anything! But soon enough I will get it done!! I am always looking for suggestions on good baby products, or things you really used, or don't need!!

On to the new pictures and stats!

* How far along?: 20 weeks! Half way there!
* Total weight gain: Hopefully still 5lbs! We'll see next monday!
* How big is baby?: Head to toe, about 10''
* Sex: A boy!! We'll confirm it on Monday!
* Maternity clothes?: Still squeezing into my shirts.. But pants definitely!
* Stretch marks?: Nope, trying to avoid these and keep myself lathered up!
* Sleep?: More and more uncomfortable and harder to sleep!
* Best moment this week?: Feeling Peanut kick more and more!
* Movement?: Getting regular! I feel him when he moves positions!
* Food cravings?: Cheddar and Sour Cream Chips.. weird!
* Labor signs?: No way!
* Belly button in or out?: Inny! But starting to get shallower...
* What I miss: My old clothes!
* What I'm looking forward to: Shopping for Peanut and the nursery!
* Milestone: Hitting half way!
