And the verdict is...

Its a GIRL!!

Yes, most people already knew it was a girl, but we have had a few friends tell us stories of their friends who were told at 16 weeks baby was a girl and then at 20 weeks baby ended up being a boy.. So, just to settle nerves, we decided to confirm it before beginning to prepare for a little princess! But according to the US tech, she was 100% sure that we will be welcoming a little girl in July! With that being said, let the shopping and planning begin!! :)

How Far Along: 20 weeks
Size of baby: a banana... roughly 7in, 11 oz
Weight gain: 5 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Mostly all bottoms, still wear some normal jeans with belly bands and tops are still a good mixture.
Gender: Girl!
Movement: Yes! Lots of her moving, and beginning to feel her kick on the outside!
Sleep: Sleep is okay. Getting up a few times to potty, and occasionally because Cole is going through a rough patch right now.. Thankfully it looks like he is getting over that! :)

Symptoms: Random heart burn here and there

What I miss: Having a glass of wine!

Cravings: Chips! Weird I know!
Best Moment this week: Confirming we're having a little girl and getting an Iphone! :)

What I am looking forward to: Preparing for this little princess! :)

Half way there... Already?

I guess it is true, when you're chasing around a toddler, your second pregnancy seems to go a lot faster!! It really does seem like we just found out we were expecting another little blessing! And now we are looking to our 20 week ultrasound and confirming the sex of this little one!! I had the US tech write down what she thought this little one was last appointment so Hubs and I could open it together (he was deployed at the time).. When she wrote it down, she said she was pretty sure but we would confirm at the 20 week US when they do all the measurements... And that is on Monday.. So after that appointment I will start doing the survey.. Until then, here are a few pictures of the expanding belly:

Hope everyone had a very loved and blessed Valentine's Day!! My guys spoiled me with Krispy Kreme dounuts, flowers and lots of hugs and kisses!! Hubs had to work late, so C and I had a play date with a friend and her little ones!! All in all, a very good day!!

Had to share the updated family picture... Its a rare thing these days to have a picture of ALL 3 of us, and smiling at that!! :) Thank you selftimer and C learning to say "Cheeeeeese" :)

I showed Hubs the side by side and told him I could tell a difference between the pregnancies.. But being the typical male, his response was "I cannot tell a difference!!" What do you think??

Its hard for me to believe we have an 18 month old!! We took him to his 18 month appointment and he was 22 lbs 6 oz (I SWEAR we feed him!!) and 33 inches long... Long an lean! :) It kind of hit us at his doctors appointment that the next time we take him for a wellness appointment, which is his 2 year appointment, we will have 2 little ones!!

I know it is not much but its a little bit of an update!! I will start doing the weekly survey about the pregnancy around week 20..

Just FYI...

My computer decided to take a little hiatus / may have kicked the can... That is to be determined, but its not looking good for the computer... :(

So because of this, I may be pretty sporadic with my posts.. Which honestly makes me pretty bummed because I really need to start documenting this pregnancy like I did with Cole!!

As far as the pregnancy goes, I am currently due July 4th, which puts me at 16 weeks.. But I am not completely set on this due date because I am consistently measuring beyond that date, more like July 6 or even 8th.. So we'll see if that gets moved eventually.. My guess is at the 20 week ultrasound when the do the full measurements of baby and see then what I am measuring at, it may get changed... But no matter what they decided, I am sure this little one will decided to come when it wants to!! :)

Hubs should be home in the next couple of weeks!!!

I tried to upload some pictures but its not working right now... I'll try and do a whole photo dump soon from over the holidays, which will hopefully include a bump picture!! But unfortunately this might have to wait until Hubs gets home with his computer..
