11 in 11

I was browsing through friends blogs and came across this fun way to look back at 2011!! So just like her, I decided I would try and give it a shot...

11. Favorite movie you watched: This one is hard because I honestly have not watched many new movies this year... But I guess I would say Horrible Bosses.. It was pretty funny!

10. Favorite TV series: I have soo many favorites, but I am reality junkie and I think my favorite right now would be "One Born Every Minute..." I know, I know.. WTH? Well, being that I have another one on the way, I love watching the real depiction of what labor really is and it gets me excited about our new addition coming.. And its pretty funny to watch some of these couples!

9. Favorite restaurant: I would have to say Buffalo Wild Wings.. I'm a sucker for wings!! And their Asian Zing... oomiiiigosh.. :)

8. Favorite new thing you tried: This will sound funny but PINTEREST! This website has really helped me come up with some crafty, fun and exciting new things for around the house!! I love trying all the things!!

7. Favorite gift you got: Hubs surprised me with this beauty under the tree:
He was not here to celebrate Christmas with us, so we decided to not do gifts.. At least I thought we did.. I am not currently at home, so I am have been able to try mine.. On the other hand I have used other people's before and I am extremely excited to get home and break mine out.. Now to find a good recipe to try!! :)

6. Favorite thing you pinned: This is REALLY hard, I have pinned soo many things, and even tried quite a few things and have a list of things I will be attempting soon!! But as of right now I would have to say this is my favorite pin because it gave inspiration for this:

Thus, helping us announce our exciting news! :) Even before we found out about #2, I had my eye on a few of these cute pictures to help with the announcement!

5. Favorite blog post: Would probably have to be this one...

4. Best accomplishment: Referring to number 5, I think my biggest accomplishment this year has been my little boy... Just this year, alone, he has gone from an infant, barely able to sit up, to a thriving, running, into everything toddler!

3. Favorite picture: Hands down this one:

I love the smirk on C's face.. Totally shows his personality! :)

2. Favorite memory: Ok, can I honestly answer this one? There are way to many good memories from this year... So I will just reminisce in my head and save you a lot of reading! :)

1. Goal for 2012: To not let what other do bother me soo much.. To trust in the Lord! To be happy in the moment and not constantly looking to the next thing!! To continue making my little family happy and putting smiles on their faces!

Hope ya'll enjoyed that!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, to everyone!!!

2011 has been a great year and I am soo excited about what 2012 has to offer!!

Christmas spirit...

Just wanted to share a few pictures of some Christmas projects I have been doing.. All these projects were thing I had seen on Pinterest and tried to recreate!!

This had good intentions.. But I do not like the way the "Joy" and "World" turned out.. I tried to combine two pictures I had seen and it did not turn out as well as I hoped.. So I'll be fixing this soon..

This turned out soo cute!! (Exactly like this picture!!) I was going to hang it in our yard on a flag hanger, but after a cold and rainy day, the ribbon didn't want to stick any more.. So now its on our entry table.. But still looks cute!!

These turned out adorable!! They're a salt dough cutout of his hand and painted like Santa! Cute personalized ordainment for the grandparents!

We took C to see Santa and he did not have a problem at all! I was fully expecting Cole to be like most kids and not like him at first, but nope.. He honestly was more concerned with the reindeer scattered around! He wanted to pet them!!

Unfortunately, we did not decorate much, again this year because Hubs was leaving for the holidays.. And with Hubs gone, C and I are back home spending extra time with family for the holidays! But I do have a few more Christmas projects I want to work on for next years Christmas... Thats if we get to decorate! :) I will be attempting to make stalkings and a tree skirt!! Hopefully they turn out as good as I imagine in my head because I am having the hardest time finding stalkings I really like for us..

Hope everyone is ready for the Holidays!!! I will be sharing our Christmas card with everyone soon! :)
