28 weeks and growing...

Time is flying by and my belly is getting bigger and bigger!! I cannot believe that in a few short weeks, hopefully 10ish.. We will have a little boy in our lives!! Crazy to think!!

Ok.. I am officially going to "reveal" our little man's name... I say that because a lot of people know what we have decided on.. But for some reason it is taking me forever to finally say, yes! So maybe this will help me!!

Our little man's name is going to be....

Cole Stephan

What do you think?? He is going to share his middle name with his daddy! Kind of an on going thing in both our families.. First born son has the dad's middle name!

Nothing else special.. This week and next are crazy for me.. Huge inspection next week.. So forgive me if I don't post much!!

Semi - Wordless Wednesday!

27 weeks, 1 dy.... Do you know what that means??? 3rd Trimester!!! I cannot believe it, we are in the HOME STRETCH!! It seems like forever ago that we found out about our little Peanut.. But yet, it seems like forever until our little man gets here!!!

Can I just say... WHOOOOA belly!!

Furniture has been assembled...

Yay!!! Hubs and I put together our Little man's Crib and Dresser!!!! Its been eating at me for the last week and half that the furniture was not put together!! Our friend picked it up from San Antonio and dropped it off to us on Wednesday, April 7th.. And Hubs was gone away on a cross country last weekend.. So the furniture had to wait until this weekend! But it is now all assembled!! I am soo excited!!

Even though I still have not completely decided on the bedding, I did buy a bumper and crib sheet in the colors that the room will be done it!! They were on sale... I couldn't help it! :)

I absolutely love the color of the furniture!!

Obviously we are no where near done with the room!! Still tons to do!!!!

Totally didn't realize....

I'm under the 100 mark already?!?! Holy crap... 96 days until Our Little Man makes his appearance. And that's IF he decides to wait until at least our due date.... Eeeek! I'm so excited! And there is soo much still to be done!!!

Goal for this weekend: Put together Crib and Dresser!! :)

How far along?: 26 wks 1dy
Total weight gain: 6 lbs
How much does baby weigh?: Roughly 2lbs and about 14 inches
Maternity clothes?: Definitely!
Stretch marks?: Not yet, still trying to avoid them! Keep your fingers crossed!
Sleep?: Still sleeping relatively well.. Only getting up for the potty.. Lil' Peanut seems to sleep during the night... I hope it stays that way!!
Best moment this week?: Hearing his heartbeat!
Movement?: Lots and Lots!! Now its visible from outside!
Food cravings?: Restaurants we don't have around here!
Labor signs?: Not yet!
Belly button in or out?: Still in, but
What I miss: Having energy!
What I'm looking forward to: 3rd trimester!
Milestone: Catching Peanut's kicks on camera! :)

Of all days to feel crummy...

The day Hubs is gone on his cross country trip.. IE, he's gone for the weekend...Yep.. Saturday morning I woke up feeling pretty crummy.. Headache, stuffy nose... just blahhh... But.. I guess it is partially ok that I happened to feel crummy this weekend because I was able to relax and be on my time! And didn't have to drag Hubs down with how I was feeling..

But I was able to get a few things accomplished yesterday! I finally got my hair trimmed! I've been saying forever that I need to get that done.. The last time I had it trimmed was in December when I was home for Christmas... Yikes! It was definitely time!! So, I got about an inch cut off.. Not a lot but as it gets longer, an inch seems like a lot! I'm definitely trying to grow it out! I've never had my hair really long.. Why now, with a baby and a extremely hot summer on the way, do I want it long?? Well I am one of those people that when I have my hair short, I always have to take the time to do my hair.. Also, when my hair is short, and I try to let it air dry, it gets really wavy, so I have to straighten it! But if I leave it long, I'm more likely to actually put my hair up! And when I air dry it, it is a bit more managable!! So, for now.. I'm trying to grow it out! We'll see if it lasts....

While I was out yesterday, I made a stop by one of the Fabulous stores here in the middle of nowhere... Yep, Wal-Mart! I was on a mission to express my green thumb... I have been wanting to plant some flowers and spruce up the outside of our house.. But I was not too impressed with the collection at Wal-Mart... And at the same time, I had Hubs' voice in my head saying.. "We're only here until December.. if you plant them, make sure they're in movable pots..." I.E. We'll have move them with us.. So I decided to put them off.. I'll wait until we get back to the South and settle down to our own place.. Plus, I'll have a little helper next time I decide to plant! :)

But my trip to Wal-Mart was not totally wasted... With the extremely hot summer coming, I have been trying to think of a good way to stay cool but be able to enjoy the weather.. So, what did I buy? This....

Yes, I bought a pool for our backyard! And Yes, we have a community pool that opens next month.. But eventually, around Julyish I will probably be looking like a... ermmm... beached wale... So I would prefer to enjoy the 120 degree weather in my own back yard!! And it was definitely a hit! I had four friends over and we hung out in the pool and enjoyed the sun! Definitely happy with my $25 purchase!!

Thats about it for my weekend.. Today I am just relaxing, waiting on the Hubs to get back from his cross country! Keep your fingers crossed he makes it home! Weather is supposed to be gross today...

Major Pain...

Yes, going with the military theme in our life, Peanut's military name would be Major Pain! haha!! Just kidding!! I say this because as Peanut grows, he is pushing everything inside of me out of his way... The only place for everything to go is UP! And as it goes up, my ribs begin to get cramped.. So I feel like my ribs are being torn apart!! Uhh!! So the last few nights I have been coming home from work, at 8 o'clock mind you, and laying with a heating pad on my back!! But what am I gonna do?? Peanut needs his room!! :)

Ok, done with my complaining!! I really do love being pregnant! :)

So the biggest news this week... We bought our baby furniture!!! I am soo excited!! We went with the Delta Eclipse Black Cherry Crib and Dresser from Target! A couple of our amazing friends have been in San Antonio this week and agreed to pick up the furniture.. Which is an amazing help because they are saving us quite a bit of money on shipping!! I cannot wait to get it set up!! Pictures will definitely be posted as soon as we get them up!! Now.. if only I could higher an interior designer to come decorate and pick out my bedding!! That would be awesome!! I have been having the hardest time finding anything I like... Please give me suggestions... anyone???

Other than that.. Not much else is new in my world!! I hope everyone had a blessed Easter!!

On to the pregnancy stuff...

How far along?: 25 weeks
Total weight gain: Roughly 4lbs.. I go to the Doctors tomorrow, so we'll see....
How much does baby weigh?: I'm going with the average and guessing 1.6lbs.. and abouy 13.5 inches long... Hopefully I'll find out tomorrow!
Maternity clothes?: Tried to stay away from them as long as possible, but I am definitely needing them now!
Stretch marks?: Not yet, still trying to avoid them!
Sleep?: Getting up more and more through out the night to use the bathroom.. Other than that, its pretty good!
Best moment this week?: Watching Peanut's kicks and moves! He's been really active lately!
Movement?: Lots and Lots!!
Food cravings?: Nothing recently. I'll just eat anything that sounds good at the moment.
Labor signs?: I'm hoping all the back pain is just that and not B&Hs!!
Belly button in or out?: Still in..
What I miss: My old clothes!
What I'm looking forward to: Decorating Peanut's room!
Milestone: Picked out furniture!! Yay!!
