19 Weeks and Snow Flurries!

Yes, you read that right... Snow Flurries!!!! It flurried in the middle of no where, Texas!! As my mom put it... Does that mean hell froze over?? Hahah!! Basically, we are so far out in the middle of no where... People tend to use the phrase, "It will snow here, when Hell Freezes over!" Well, it did today!! Now if we can only get it to stick!! Maybe we should revert to the original statement! Wish I could get some pictures of it, but every time I tried, the flurries would not show up... Oh well, its the thought that counts! :)

So new things this week, Hubs flew his first solo this week!! That is a big step!! That means they trust him with a multi-million dollar plane!! Yay!! It was really fun to be there and watch him fly! Also because once he parked and did all the final checklist stuff, we walked up to everyone waiting... This is when all his buddies pick him up and throw him into a pond.. Its just something they do after you solo.. I think its one of those, you're supposed to flight it, but its gonna happen! So they have fun with it!! But I was soo proud of him!!

Please ignore the picture of me!! Now onto the prego stuff... We have hit 19 weeks!! I cannot believe we are almost half way there!!! Its crazy!! I started to look into cribs and room ideas... Let me just say, WOW! I never thought it would be soo complicated for me to decide on a crib!! I knew the bedding would be, but not the crib! Uhh!!! If anyone has any suggestions, please do tell!! Maybe once I decide on a crib, it will help me decide on the bedding!! But I think I will put that off until we confirm Peanut is a boy!!

On to the normal questions:

* How far along?: 19 weeks
* Total weight gain: Still 5lbs!
* How big is baby?: If he is on track, probably 8-10 inches
* Sex: A boy!! Hubs wont believe it until we confirm it on March 8th!
* Maternity clothes?: Still squeezing into my shirts.. But pants definitely!
* Stretch marks?: Nope, trying to avoid these and keep myself lathered up!
* Sleep?: Starting to get more and more uncomfortable and harder to sleep!
* Best moment this week?: Feeling Peanut moving!!
* Movement?: Getting regular! I feel him when he moves positions and definitely when he is sitting on my bladder!
* Food cravings?: Fried pickles... Especially since I cannot get them here! :(
* Labor signs?: No way!
* Belly button in or out?: Inny!
* What I miss: Sleeping through the night and unfortunately alcohol!
* What I'm looking forward to: Shopping for Peanut!
* Milestone: Felt a kick for the first time!! :)

Just truckin' along!!

So here we are, 18 weeks... At this point there is not too much new to report... We know what Peanut will be... We know that my bump is continuing to grow... And so on...

One new thing, I decided to not get rid of my belly button ring.. After my previous post about taking it out, a friend of mine texted me and told me about a new invention.. Tattoo parlors have come up with a maternity belly button ring!! Basically its a flexible piece of long plastic... That way, as your tummy expands, that little piece of skin between the the two ends doesn't stretch.. Hopefully!! But I have ordered one, and I am eagerly anticipating its arrival so I can change mine out!! I will update you all on that later on!! And Maybe with pictures... We'll see!

And one more new thing... I am pretty sure I felt our little Peanut last night!! OMG!!! So I had just got into bed and was watching a little TV.. At this point in the pregnancy, when I am laying down, I always have my hand on my tummy to see if I can feel anything.. All of a sudden, I felt my tummy (right under my belly button) get really tight.. And underneath the skin, it was almost like something was rubbing against my stomach.. So for about 5 seconds, this went on.. And then all of a sudden my skin when back to normal... So I am pretty sure Peanut was changing positions and I got to feel him!!! I was freaking out!! I just wish Hubs would have been able to feel him!!! Soon, hopefully!!! :)

Anyways!!! On to the weekly stuff!!

* How far along?: 18 weeks
* Total weight gain: 5lbs!
* How big is baby?: About the size of a sweet potato.
* Sex: As of now, a boy!! We'll confirm on March 8th!
* Maternity clothes?: Yes, pants atleast!
* Stretch marks?: Nope, trying to avoid these and keep myself lathered up!
* Sleep?: Peanut likes to use my bladdar as a trampoline right now.. Uhh!! Not even half way a long yet!! I know it will only get worse!
* Best moment this week?: Potentially feeling Peanut for the first time!
* Movement?: Definitely have the bubbles inside.. Possibly onces from the outside!
* Food cravings?: Hot wings!!!
* Labor signs?: They can stay away for a while!!
* Belly button in or out?: Inny!
* What I miss: Being able to shop for cute clothes!
* What I'm looking forward to: Really feeling Peanut more and more!
* Milestone: Feeling movements!! Looking for nursery stuff! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!


Hope everyone's day was filled with love and admiration!! Mine was definitely relaxing! We went out to dinner last night to the finest restuaraunt in the middle of nowhere! Then went to a comedy show, which was pretty fun.. Overall, it was a great weekend!!
I love spending time with my hunny!!
We definitely cannot wait to have our little Valentine next year!

* How big is baby?: 5'' long!
* Sex: Boy!! (Atleast until we confirm it on the 8th!)
* Maternity clothes?: Starting to need more!!
* Stretch marks?: Nope, keep myself lathered up!
* Sleep?: I would like to get some of this.. Getting up more through the night..
* Best moment this week?: Finding out what Peanut is!
* Movement?: Getting the flutters.. He still has some room, so hopefully soon!
* Food cravings?: I don't believe in those b/c if I see it, I want it! :)
* Labor signs?: Nooooo thank you!
* Belly button in or out?: Inny! And put belly button ring back in!! :)

Well, I went to the doctors on Monday and Baby B is doing great!! Doctor decided he wanted to do an ultrasound and check on Peanut.. So because he was doing an ultrasound, I asked if we could "speculate" about what Peanut's gender may be.... I told him that if he did see something, that I did not want him to tell me.. Which he then looked at me confused because I had just asked him about "speculating.." But I proceeded to tell him that since Hubs could not make the appointment to find out the gender of our 1st born, that I wanted him to write it down and put it in an envelope.. My doctor thought that was really neat!!

So on to the ultrasound.. He showed me the usual... The head, spine, legs, hands... and soo on.. This all took about 10 minutes.. And he says, ok we're done! I looked at him with this "well... " face.. He then smiled and said, "its a little early for me to be telling you but I can see how excited you are.. So I will write it down on the back of the photo and put it in an envelope.. But dont go on a huge shopping spree just yet.. We'll confirm it next month..." Here I thought he didnt even look.. I never saw any thing!! But that was that...

So, at 16.5 weeks... Peanut's gender is..........................................................

BOY!!!

We are soo excited!! We wanted a healthy baby, and if it was a girl, we would love it just that same.. But Hubs and I were definitely leaning towards the boy side! Now, we'll just wait and see if that is the correct gender on March 8th.. :)

The bump is a growin....

Well.. I guess I can officially say I have a bump.. Its nice to start looking a little more rounded instead of chubby!! The bump is developing quickly!! Its especially noticable from the front!! A lot more defined! Here are the pictures:

* How far along?: 16 weeks
* Total weight gain: Maybe 3lbsish... I have a doctors appointment next week, so Ill update that next time!!
* How big is baby?: About the size of an avocado. 4 inchesish..
* Sex: Don't know yet.. maybe next week!!
* Maternity clothes?: I'm wearing a pair of maternity jeans but thats about it.. I need some belly bands!!
* Stretch marks?: Nope, keep myself lathered up!
* Sleep?: Tossing and turning and getting up more through the night..
* Best moment this week?: Reaching 4 months!! :)
* Movement?: Getting the bubbles.. Hopefully soon!
* Food cravings?: I don't believe in those b/c if I see it, I want it! :)
* Labor signs?: Nooooo thank you!
* Belly button in or out?: Inny!
* What I miss: Being able to sleep! :)
* What I'm looking forward to: Finding out what we're having and feeling baby b!
* Milestone: Having a noticeable bump and not a pugy tummy!

So next week I have an appointment with the doctors.. I am going to ask if its too early to "speculate" what baby b is!! So start guessing now!! :)
