Oh... the places we will go..

6 Places... These are places I love to be and some that I would love to go...


1. A beautiful resort during the winter time, somewhere where there is snow.. Maybe Colorado? I love the snow and have always seen those breathtaking images of the beautiful ski resorts.. Plus, I want to learn to ski!!

2. Auburn, Al... Why? Because I am a devoted college football fan and southern girl at heart.. During the fall, tailgating with friends in Auburn is soo much fun!!

3. St. Maarten -- We were supposed to go on our honeymoon but a hurricane diverted us..

4. A beautiful beach somewhere...

5. Europe -- There are soo many places I would love to travel to over there!

6. Home, whether it be here or there..."Home is where your family is..." :)

7 Wants...

Some of these are vague and in the moment wants right now... And some are wants for the future and to continue through out my life! :)



1. To be the best mother and wife that I can be... I love my little family soo much and love to see them happy! :) I just want to be able to provide them with every thing and live a long fulfilled life!

2. To take a vacation to the beach!!

3. To be able to do cute things with my hair... I am lame and always wear it down and straight, nothing special!

4. To become a better cook.. I can follow recipes but I want to be able to come up with new things or to "throw things together" and it taste good!

5. Learn to ski...

6. Cute new clothes and shoes!!

7. To start family traditions...

8 Fears...

1. Something happening to Cole (or future kids) and not being able to do anything about it.. ie: an illness…

2. Losing a loved one or husband not coming home from a deployment.

3. Failing at something

4. Heights, like freezable and cannot move scared!

5. Someone breaking into my house, especially while I am there.

6. People watching me when I have no clue…

7. Spiders, creepy bugs… enough said... moving on…

8. Snakes… No need to explain!

Ok, I know I am in the middle of the "10 Day You Challenge.." and have not posted 8 or 7... I'll start back up tomorrow.. We have been away for the weekend and not near a computer.. We just got home and have to catch up on the house stuff and gotta help the hubs wash cars... Figured this would give Cole some fun time in the sun with his new water mat.. Just wanted to let everyone know that I have not forgot or stopped blogging those "10" things...

3. Auburn Football… I countdown days for football and tailgating to begin!!

4. Tailgating for football games… Whether it be at the game or in my own home with friends… I cannot get enough of it.. I know I am a strange girl..

5. Get togethers with friends and family.. anything… I love to entertain!

6. Fall… I love chili and all other food that warms the body!!

7. Winter… I love Christmas and Warm Clothes!! Especially all the warm baby clothes!!

8. Shopping for clothes for Cole.. The clothes they have for babies are soo cute!!

9. Trying new recipes

Attempt at blogging more...

So in my attempt at blogging more and maybe entertain the few people that check out my blog.. I thought I would give this:

a try... I saw it on another blog that I occasionally stock (MrsSouthernBelle)… Thought it would be fun to try out.. We'll see! :)

10 Secrets…

1. I miss living in Middle of Nowhere, Tx… Why? Because I miss all the friends we made out there.. I miss being able to walk down the street and see all my friends!!

2. I sometimes wish hubs was active duty instead of guard.. Then we would not have to worry about what we are going to do after he gets off orders.. ie: Health insurances, full-time job…

3. I am excited for hubs to eventually go back to flying for the airlines, so we can have flight privileges again…

4. I love being a home with Cole, but worries that the hubs is secretly upset that I am not helping to contribute to the household income…

5. I secretly wish Cole would stay little forever… He is 13 months and I want him to be 3 months again. Thus the next one…

6. I want another baby! I have baby fever, all that time!!

7. I wish I was more creative… I see all these cute ideas people do and think “Why couldn’t I do that?” So I attempt things but they never end up as cute as others do them.

8. I hate making decisions and I know it is very frustrating to hubs!

9. I wish I was I was a better dresser… I always get ideas from what my friends where.. I guess that’s a compliment to them?

10. I wish I blogged more and had more to talk about.. I know seeing posts about Cole probably gets redundant and boring for everyone! :)

How is this possible?

...that Cole is already tall enough to reach door knobs?? According to this picture, he his.. Or our knobs are extraordinarily low....


...that my sweet little one year old is/was already ready for a hair cut??

Yes, yes it is!! We officially have a walking little boy.. No more steps here and there... He pretty much has the hang of it and gets braver my the day!! All of this is slightly hard for me to believe because I feel like just last week I was holding a tiny little newborn.. Now he is running away from me when I try to hold him!!

I am going to try and get some good video of our little walker and up load it.. Its pretty cute!! :)
