Pinterest and other stuff...

Yes, thank you to all the lovely people out there who have creative minds!!! I surely do not have the creativeness to take a blank canvas and create something so fun and decorative!!! But I have tried a few of the Halloween things I have seen on Pinterest and look how they turned out:

Made our door look like Frankenstein... Inspired by this

A pumpkin made from a dryer vent!! Here was the inspiration...

Pinterest is such a fun little website to get brilliant ideas for crafting and whatever else you can think of.. Especially recipes!! I have already tried a few yummy ones... And There are soo many other projects I have in mind and that I am beginning to tackle.. So, there will be plenty more pictures to come of things I will try!! :)

In other news... I have been doing some reading lately... What you ask??

Recently I was talking with a freidn about how rambunctious my little guy is already at only 14 months, and they recommended the book, "Bringing up Boys" by James Dobson... Its actually a really good book for why boys and girls are wired to be different. It has a lot of encouraging words from others who have raised little boys!! I will definitely be recommending it to my friends who have little boys.. If we should ever have a little girl, I will be reading the girl version of it, too!

With Halloween just around the corner, I am unfortunately having the hardest time deciding what to dress Cole up for Halloween.. Not that we are going to be taking him very far for Trick or Treating... We thought it would be fun to just take him to a few friends houses in our neighborhood and then have him help pass out candy.. He is still too young for the "real" thing.. But I would still like to dress him up as something.. So if any one has any suggestions, feel free to pass them along.. I'm not very creative... Remember?? :)

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks!!

A friend gave us this slide and Cole loves it!! It only took him a few minutes to figure out how to climb it and slide, all by himself!!

He is such a big helper!! He heard daddy say he was going to take out the trash, and ran to him room and got him trash out of the trash can! (Obviously, we tied it in a knot!! :) )

Ready to watch some Auburn football!!! My future tiger!! :)

Hubs's sister got married at the beginning of the month.. This picture was one of the only ones of the three of us b/c all Cole wanted to do was run around, since we were outside!! He was in heaven!!

My new, favorite family picture!! It was from the rehearsal for the wedding!
(Cole is basically saying, PUT ME DOWN!!) :)

We will be carving pumpkins soon, so I'll post more pictures soon!!

Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL October!!! :)
