Trip home and Baby Shower #1

Wow, What a weekend!!! I finally got to take a trip home to see all my family and friends and show off this little bump of mine!! It was an absolute blast!! Getting to spend time with everyone, one last time before this little man comes, was absolutely amazing!

It was a little overwhelming, though. I say that because up until this weekend, I do not think it has really hit me that in a few short months, we will indeed have a little infant to take care of! Ahhh!! Up until this weekend, Hubs and I have not really done much shopping for Baby Cole.. Not because we have not wanted to, just because we do not live close enough to a big city to just jump in the car and run get a few things! So being home this weekend, it really hit home that he will be here soon!! I guess one "must have female gene" that I failed to inherit was the "shopping gene..." But let me tell you, there was plenty of shopping this weekend!!

And the baby shower... WoW!! To sum it all up, amazing!! I am soo blessed! First because I have such an amazing, kind hearted, loving mom who wants to make everything spectacular!! She put soo much time and effort into planning the baby shower! From the invitations, to the food, down to the detail on the cake!! Everything was perfect!! I could not have asked for a better shower!!

Secondly, I am soo blessed to have such amazing, generous friends and family!! We really received quite a bit of things we needed off the registry.. It means the world to me to have such an amazing support group!! Thank you to everyone that came to the shower!! And those that couldn't make it, you were in our hearts!

All in all, I had an amazing weekend!! I was definitely worn out by the end!!

Down to single digits!!

OMG! I still cannot believe it... I am in the single digits, week-wise, until our little man makes his appearance!!! Ekkkk!!!! So much to do!! Beginning with Baby Showers!!

I'm headed home to Georgia tomorrow!! I am sooo excited!! I have not been home since Christmas time.. So needless to say, I am very excited!!! None of my family or friends have seen me with my growing tummy!! Last time they saw me, I was just revealing I was prego!!! Ekkk!! They're all going to freak!! The pictures really do not do this belly justice! I have a feeling some may think I am not as big as the pictures make me look.. Or at least thats how I see it.. We'll see soon!!

But back to the point... I am headed home because my wonderful mommy is throwing me my first baby shower!!!!! Yay!! I feel soo blessed!! I cannot wait to see everyone and celebrate this little guy!!

30 Weeks!!!

This feels so unreal making it here. Did I really just make it through 30 weeks of pregnancy? Do I really only have 10 weeks left before Cole is here (assuming he arrives on or after his due date)??? Kind of weird.. But it still really does not feel real! I keep thinking about what it will be like when he gets here, but I do not think I have really, completely come to grips that in roughly 2 months we will have this little person in our lives... WoW!! We have soo much that still needs to be done!! But unfortunately, I am a really indecisive person and time is slowly creeping away.. Pray that I get everything accomplished!!

So I am getting really excited... I am going home next week!!! YaY!! My mom is throwing me a baby shower!! I'm soo excited to see everyone!!

I know I have not posted one of these in a while.. So here you go:

How far along?: 30 weeks
Total weight gain: 6 lbs at last doctors appointment... probably closer to 8-10 maybe?
How much does baby weigh?: About 3lbs and 15ish inches long... Long and skinny...
Maternity clothes?: Ohh yea! He is definitely making an appearance.. Love the dresses!
Stretch marks?: None so far.. Praying I luck out on not getting them.. Keep myself lathered up!
Sleep?: Uhh.. not enough! Getting up at least 2x a night and more and more uncomfortable!
Best moment this week?: Getting flowers from a friend for a "Semi First Mother's Day! :)"
Movement?: All the time!! Thankfully during the day!! And hes definitely stretching out into my ribs a lot more!!
Food cravings?: Anything and Everything!
Labor signs?: Not yet!
Belly button in or out?: Still in, but getting flatter
What I miss: My old body and clothes!!
What I'm looking forward to: Going home for next week for the first baby shower!
Milestone: Nothing really this week...
