Wordless Wednesday

Hope everyone had a blessed and relaxing Thanksgiving!! We had a busy week, but thoroughly enjoyed the time spent back home with friends and family! Its this time of year, the holidays, that reminds me how much I have to be thankful for in my life!

Not much to update on right now.. Just getting ready for hubby to be vacant for some time.. Sad he wont be here for the Christmas... But we are extremely thankful for what he is doing and that he is living his dream! :)

Here are some pictures over the last month...

He is a happy little bugger!

How is it possible he is big enough to climb into the glider by himself??

Cheering on our Tigers! (Don't need commentary from anyone.... :) )

C loving the park!

Our attempt at getting a decent family picture for a Christmas card... More on this later!!

Not the greatest picture, they had been chasing each other all afternoon, no nap and excited for a surprise.. See below! :)

This is an early Christmas present... My little sister could not wait to give the C the car, she convinced my mom to let him have it early! :) Plus, Hubs gets to see him enjoy it, too!

Loving his little car!

Cole did not want to cooperate with pictures on Thanksgiving, so Hubs and I got a good one in! :)

Trying to get the little guy to cooperate! :)

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures!! I'll be back soon with some more updates!!

Happy Halloween

Hope everyone had a great evening!!! Our little monkey sure had a blast!!! He actually walked up to doors with a few of our neighbors and just held out his pumpkin (obviously he is still too little to say "Trick or Treat")... He was the cutest thing!! :)

Our CUTE little monkey!! :)

Cole was not happy we were interrupting his trick or treating...

Last week some of our friends invited us to a Fall Festival at their church and Cole had so much fun seeing all the different jump houses and clowns and costumes.. It was a lot of fun!! We are looking forward to next year when he can do a little more at these events.. For now he just stands around staring at everyone! :)

Enjoying all the sites at the Festival!!

Daddy and his boy :)

This past weekend we were up in Charlotte for a wedding.. It was soo much fun!! Cole was the hit of the party!! Who knew Hubs and I had a little dancing machine!! We showed us moves we had never seen before... It was the cutest thing!!! :)

Breaking it down on the dance floor...

All he wanted to do was dance with the little girl!! It was soo cute! :)

Love my little family! :) Align Center

Hope everyone had a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! :)

Addicted...

Yes, my name is Mrs. B and I am addicted to Pinterest and attempting the projects!!!

My next project was a "birth announcement" canvas (I know.. 15 months late :) )... I came across a pin by Kitchen Table for two and thought hers turned out great!! She made it seem so simple, so I decided to try it.. Some of the transfer did not transfer well, but I love the way it turned out.. I love the look... So with a little tweaking to the the directions that were posted, here is the finished product:

And here is my attempt at being a photographer with a 15 month old who does not want to sit still:

I told him to sit there and say cheese and all he wanted to do was grab the camera!

This picture turned out cute.. He actually stopped for a second to look at the canvas and I was able to get a picture!!

Hope ya'll like the birth announcement canvas!! :)

Pinterest and other stuff...

Yes, thank you to all the lovely people out there who have creative minds!!! I surely do not have the creativeness to take a blank canvas and create something so fun and decorative!!! But I have tried a few of the Halloween things I have seen on Pinterest and look how they turned out:

Made our door look like Frankenstein... Inspired by this

A pumpkin made from a dryer vent!! Here was the inspiration...

Pinterest is such a fun little website to get brilliant ideas for crafting and whatever else you can think of.. Especially recipes!! I have already tried a few yummy ones... And There are soo many other projects I have in mind and that I am beginning to tackle.. So, there will be plenty more pictures to come of things I will try!! :)

In other news... I have been doing some reading lately... What you ask??

Recently I was talking with a freidn about how rambunctious my little guy is already at only 14 months, and they recommended the book, "Bringing up Boys" by James Dobson... Its actually a really good book for why boys and girls are wired to be different. It has a lot of encouraging words from others who have raised little boys!! I will definitely be recommending it to my friends who have little boys.. If we should ever have a little girl, I will be reading the girl version of it, too!

With Halloween just around the corner, I am unfortunately having the hardest time deciding what to dress Cole up for Halloween.. Not that we are going to be taking him very far for Trick or Treating... We thought it would be fun to just take him to a few friends houses in our neighborhood and then have him help pass out candy.. He is still too young for the "real" thing.. But I would still like to dress him up as something.. So if any one has any suggestions, feel free to pass them along.. I'm not very creative... Remember?? :)

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks!!

A friend gave us this slide and Cole loves it!! It only took him a few minutes to figure out how to climb it and slide, all by himself!!

He is such a big helper!! He heard daddy say he was going to take out the trash, and ran to him room and got him trash out of the trash can! (Obviously, we tied it in a knot!! :) )

Ready to watch some Auburn football!!! My future tiger!! :)

Hubs's sister got married at the beginning of the month.. This picture was one of the only ones of the three of us b/c all Cole wanted to do was run around, since we were outside!! He was in heaven!!

My new, favorite family picture!! It was from the rehearsal for the wedding!
(Cole is basically saying, PUT ME DOWN!!) :)

We will be carving pumpkins soon, so I'll post more pictures soon!!

Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL October!!! :)

MIA

I know I have been MIA and its because I worked that last two weeks while daddy and Cole spent some time together!! This were pretty hectic with working 10 hour days and coming home and having to take care of my family too.. But I cannot complain at all!! I love my life!! :)

I'll try to update more often now.. Cole is soo much more active these days and slowly trying to eliminate his last nap.. So, with that said, I will probably be updating more pictures than acual words.. I'm sure there is not much complain there because honestly Cole is growing soo fast these days and getting cuter by the day!! Speaking of that, here are few pictures I wanted to share!!

I had to make rail coverings for Cole's crib because he had been chewing on the crib.. These are the finished product!! Pretty proud of them!! :)

Our happy little guy ready to watch some football!! :)

Enjoying his new footie jammies and Cars "slumber bed/couch"...

Daddy pushing Cole on the swings... He loves this!!

Little man is waking up from his nap, so this shall come to a screeching halt!! Hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL week!!!

Holiday Weekends take priority!

Yes.. That would be the reason I have not posted yet... And Football Started!!! :)

We had a wonderful weekend full of fun, friends and tons of food... Feel like I need to go on a diet now... :)

4 Books...
I'm not the best at sitting still and reading for long periods of time but these are ones on my list to read next...

1. Redeeming Love

2. The Help

3. Heaven is for Real

4. Good Night Moon -- Ok, I've read this a million times to Cole but I love reading it to him!!

3 Films...

I'm not the biggest movie critic or watcher.. Normally its action stuff the hubs wants to watch.. But these 3 movies are a few of my favorite... Nothing special! :)

1. Steel Magnolias -- "Pink is my signature color.. " Love that movie! :)

2. Cars -- One of my favorite animated movies!

3. Sweet Home Alabama -- I could watch this over and over!

2 Songs...

1. "Then" by Brad Paisley -- Brings me back to my wedding day!! :)

2. "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts -- Makes me think of Cole and everything I hope for him! :)

1 Picture...

This is my favorite picture of the weekend.. He was cheesing to the camera and as soon as hubs snapped the picture he looked at me.. I don't usually get many good pictures with Cole b/c I am normally the one taking them.. Even though he is not looking at the camera, I still think its sweet! :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!!
