MIA

I know I have been MIA and its because I worked that last two weeks while daddy and Cole spent some time together!! This were pretty hectic with working 10 hour days and coming home and having to take care of my family too.. But I cannot complain at all!! I love my life!! :)

I'll try to update more often now.. Cole is soo much more active these days and slowly trying to eliminate his last nap.. So, with that said, I will probably be updating more pictures than acual words.. I'm sure there is not much complain there because honestly Cole is growing soo fast these days and getting cuter by the day!! Speaking of that, here are few pictures I wanted to share!!

I had to make rail coverings for Cole's crib because he had been chewing on the crib.. These are the finished product!! Pretty proud of them!! :)

Holiday Weekends take priority!

Yes.. That would be the reason I have not posted yet... And Football Started!!! :)

We had a wonderful weekend full of fun, friends and tons of food... Feel like I need to go on a diet now... :)

4. Good Night Moon -- Ok, I've read this a million times to Cole but I love reading it to him!!

I'm not the biggest movie critic or watcher.. Normally its action stuff the hubs wants to watch.. But these 3 movies are a few of my favorite... Nothing special! :)

1. Steel Magnolias -- "Pink is my signature color.. " Love that movie! :)

2. Cars -- One of my favorite animated movies!

3. Sweet Home Alabama -- I could watch this over and over!

1. "Then" by Brad Paisley -- Brings me back to my wedding day!! :)

2. "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts -- Makes me think of Cole and everything I hope for him! :)

1 Picture...

This is my favorite picture of the weekend.. He was cheesing to the camera and as soon as hubs snapped the picture he looked at me.. I don't usually get many good pictures with Cole b/c I am normally the one taking them.. Even though he is not looking at the camera, I still think its sweet! :)

So, I have already had breakfast and after writing this I am hungry again!! Guess I will start planning meals for the rest of the day!! :)

1. Chicken Parmigiana -- Probably my absolute favorite food ever!!

2. Sun dried tomato and broccoli pasta -- oh it is sooo good! :)

3. Asian Zing Boneless wings from Buffalo Wild Wings -- so thankful we live close to a B-Dubs, finally! :) I could probably eat these everyday...

4. Fried pickles with a really good ranch -- Yep, its not just a pregnant woman's craving anymore!!

5. Momma's Love and Cool Ranch Nachos from Momma Goldberg's!! Bringing back college days!! But now Momma G's is franchised and we can get it in Birmingham and Newnan now!! :)

Oh... the places we will go..

6 Places... These are places I love to be and some that I would love to go...


1. A beautiful resort during the winter time, somewhere where there is snow.. Maybe Colorado? I love the snow and have always seen those breathtaking images of the beautiful ski resorts.. Plus, I want to learn to ski!!

2. Auburn, Al... Why? Because I am a devoted college football fan and southern girl at heart.. During the fall, tailgating with friends in Auburn is soo much fun!!

3. St. Maarten -- We were supposed to go on our honeymoon but a hurricane diverted us..

4. A beautiful beach somewhere...

5. Europe -- There are soo many places I would love to travel to over there!

6. Home, whether it be here or there..."Home is where your family is..." :)

7 Wants...

Some of these are vague and in the moment wants right now... And some are wants for the future and to continue through out my life! :)



1. To be the best mother and wife that I can be... I love my little family soo much and love to see them happy! :) I just want to be able to provide them with every thing and live a long fulfilled life!

2. To take a vacation to the beach!!

3. To be able to do cute things with my hair... I am lame and always wear it down and straight, nothing special!

4. To become a better cook.. I can follow recipes but I want to be able to come up with new things or to "throw things together" and it taste good!

5. Learn to ski...

6. Cute new clothes and shoes!!

7. To start family traditions...

8 Fears...

1. Something happening to Cole (or future kids) and not being able to do anything about it.. ie: an illness…

2. Losing a loved one or husband not coming home from a deployment.

3. Failing at something

4. Heights, like freezable and cannot move scared!

5. Someone breaking into my house, especially while I am there.

6. People watching me when I have no clue…

7. Spiders, creepy bugs… enough said... moving on…

8. Snakes… No need to explain!

Ok, I know I am in the middle of the "10 Day You Challenge.." and have not posted 8 or 7... I'll start back up tomorrow.. We have been away for the weekend and not near a computer.. We just got home and have to catch up on the house stuff and gotta help the hubs wash cars... Figured this would give Cole some fun time in the sun with his new water mat.. Just wanted to let everyone know that I have not forgot or stopped blogging those "10" things...
