Busy, busy, busy...

That is the MAIN word I would use to describe my life right now!! Hense why this blog has not recieved a lot of attention from me lately! Sorry guys but when you have a mobile 7.5 month old, you do a lot of chasing!! I love that he is crawling, but yes there are some days that I wish I could put him down somewhere and come back and he is in the same spot!! But it definitely is soo much fun for him now!! He is allllllll over the place!!! His favorite thing right now is to go after the dog food and water!! So I am constantly on the look out for where he is going!!

Just wanted to give a quick update and some pictures!! We are headed to Dallas this weekend to see Daddy!! :) I'll plan on updating next week with all the new stuff he has been doing and 8 month stats!!

A cold, Dallas, 7 Months and crawling...

All in a week..... :)

Hope everyone's Valentine's Day was filled with lots of love and joy!! With Hubbs being away at training, I spent my Valentine's with the best little Valentine!! But that day didn't go as well as I planned!! I woke up to a little boy with a 103 fever.. So of course I wanted to get him checked out and make sure everything was ok.. Thankfully everything seemed ok, just a little cold.. And he was trooper!! It is soo hard to see your little guy not feeling good and not be able to take the pain and sickness away!! Our Valentine's Day was spent snuggling!! Thankfully we got through it and are only dealing with the remaining runny nose!

We are currently in Dallas and have been since Friday!! We got to spend the weekend with daddy!! It was soo much fun!! We met up with some friends from Del Rio and took Cole to the Zoo!! It was such a beautiful day!! Cole had as much fun as a 7 month old could.. Of course all he wanted to do is people watch and smile and giggle at everyone!! It was really fun getting out and doing family things!!

Daddy is back at training for a few days and will be back to down with us on Thursday!! Along with tons of family!! Cole and I both get to meet a lot of Hubbs's extended family.. There is a memorial service on Friday, Feb 25th for Hubbs's grandfather who passed away in September. Yes, its awhile after but for good reason!! We have soo many military men and women in the family and they wanted to wait until everyone could make the funeral/memorial service. I think it is awesome that they planned it this way.. Its going to be a great memorial!

So yes, we have hit 7 months with this little guy!! Its really hard to believe that I have been a mommy for 7 months now.. I am loving every second of it!! Although I would like to press pause and keep Cole little forever!! He is growing up way too fast!! He started CRAWLING yesterday!!! He technically was not even 7 months yet and he was already mobile!! I honestly cannot believe it!! We we were home, he was barely pushing up.. He would get soo frustrated and not want to crawl... Now, he is doing it all!! I think he wanted to wait so daddy could see him do it first!! I am going to attempt to get a video of him crawling and if I am successful I will post it!! But it is kind of hard when he wants my phone and I am trying to tape him! :) I have to use my phone because I forgot to charge my battery on my camera.. But I will have it mid-week and can start using it again!!

Stats and Pictures

Cole is growing soo fast!! We had his 6 month appointment this week.. A little late due to all the moving and transferring doctors.. But as promised here are his stats:

- 15 lbs. 3 oz.
- 26 3/4 inches long
- wears 6-9 month clothes
- eats 2 solid meals a day
- takes 2 naps a day
- loves to sit and play on the floor
- learning his voice and loves to "talk"
- loves being outside
- just starting to learn how to use a walker.. Watch out!!

According to our new doctor, Cole is perfect long and skinny little boy.. She was not concerned at all with his weight or anything.. We agree, he is PERFECT!! :)

Hubs has come and went again.. He is now gone for 5 months... But we'll be visiting him some in Oklahoma.. But while he was home briefly, we had Cole baptized.. This was the only time we could plan this before Cole is almost one.. Daddy will be gone until the end of June! It was such a privileged to have Pastor David, who married us, do the baptism! It was soo good to have all the love and support from our Family and Friends!!

Say it isn't soo...

Cole is 6 months already??? It cannot be possible!!

Let me apologize, and continue for the coming months, Im sure, for my absences... Since we moved home in December, things have been a little (ehmmm A LOT) crazy... Hubs has been gone for about 3.5 weeks now.. So it has been fun playing single parent!! I cannot really say that because I have had WONDERFUL help from both my parents and Hubs's parents!! Cole is loving all the attention.. But we get to see daddy soon and we, mostly me Im sure, cannot wait!!

And yes, my little man is growing sooo fast!!! At 6 months this little guy is becoming more and more active!! Sits by himself, is starting to do the sit to crawling position and is VERY interested in walking.. If he is sitting in front of you and you reach your hands out to him, he will grab them and immediately stand up! I have a feeling he might be an early walker.. And boy will I have my hands full!

We have his 6 month appointment next week with his new doctor, so I will post his stats then! But I am sure he has grown a lot!! :)

Unfortunately I have been taking A LOT of pictures with my phone, rather than my fancy new camera.. But the reason behind this is that with Hubs being gone, I send him daily pictures and video of Cole.. So I need to send said pictures to my email so I can post them!!! But here are a few and I will update with more soon!!

Over-achiever!!

Yes, ladies and gentleman, we have an OVER-ACHIEVER on our hands... Why you might ask?? Well, my tiny little guy has his first tooth ALREADY!!! Can you believe it?? At 4.5 months, Cole has already cut his first tooth.. I personally cannot believe it.. I though babies do not do this until atleast 6 months, if not later... Ohh.. And what fun it has been!!! Atleast now we know why he is not sleeping through the night.. I have been trying my hardest to get a smile where the tooth is visible, but have yet to be successful.. I shall keep trying!!

On another note.. Tomorrow is Hubs' BIG day!! He receives his wings!!! Thats right, he will officially be a rated, Air Force Pilot!!! Yay!!! :) And look at what a friend of ours dad made for Cole:

Shots are no fun...

I know I have been a little distant lately.. We have been very busy!!! We had birthdays, trips to Dallas for Thanksgiving and one little boy who does not like to sleep!! And on top of that Cole had the second part of his 4 month shots yesterday... And today, he is not feeling very well.. Poor baby.. He has a temperature and his a little fussy... So I will be spending my day taking care of my little guy.. And try to get the house clean and start packing to move home!! Yippeee!!!

My mom got Hubs and I a new camera for our birthdays!! I was so excited when she surprised us with it!! I had just been saying over Thanksgiving that I wanted one.. So I am trying to learn how to use it!! :)

One step closer to his dream!! And before then though, we will be moving out of our house (hopefully)!! Then right after graduation we'll be saying BYE BYE to Middle of Nowhere, Tx and HELLO HOME!!! Just in time for CHRISTMAS!!! Hard to believe!! :)
